Payment Manager (m/f/d)

These payment processes are the backbone of millions of transactions per year in our global network of stations, our 100% digital products such as SIXT share, SIXT ride and our mobility platform ONE with an increasing number of other partners. Payment is not an end in itself. We measure ourselves by successful payment transactions, the development of transaction-related costs and the feedback from our customers. We map our industry-specific processes via our own PCI-certified infrastructure and advanced payment partners. In order to further expand our position and take the next strategic steps, we are looking for reinforcement from proven Senior Payment Experts/Managers (m/f/d), forward thinkers and co-thinkers. The position can be located in Munich or Berlin.

What you will do:

• You define and implement the payment strategy in coordination with relevant stakeholders (e.g. product owners), based on market developments, customer needs and your own analyses
• You are responsible for the selection and implementation of new payment methods and coordinate the selection and management of external payment service providers (technical contract review and integration, performance reviews and problem-solving)
• You are responsible for monitoring all payment and internal business processes to ensure optimal customer satisfaction during and after the payment process
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with legal, contractual and internal requirements
• You create well-thought-out requirements for our agile payment IT teams and take over the consulting and training of internal stakeholders

About you:

• You have completed a university degree or training with a commercial or technical focus and have already gained several years of experience in the payment sector, mobile payment, in the connection of PSPs, acquirers and payment methods
• You convince with your payment know-how on payment processes, payment KPIs, providers and regulations and have solid experience in the implementation and management of complex projects
• You work independently, hands-on and in a structured manner, and you are characterized by a strong target and result orientation
• You have a good overview of current technologies, a willingness to continuously learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex applications and new topics
• You are a strong communicator and speak fluent English, German is a plus
