Marketing Cloud - Software Development Engineer - II

Turnaround operations for vehicles is a critical function at SIXT, spanning 2000 odd branches and involving millions of rental vehicles. As a Product Manager on the turnaround operations team, one will be responsible for working with software engineers as well as operation managers in the Europe and US to create routing, dispatch, geospatial, and telematics software and hardware products and continuously improving operational processes and equipment, all to serve our customers better and improve the company’s bottom lines. The new-age turnaround operations platform will help re-define processes in our branches and drive efficiencies by leveraging cutting edge machine learning algorithms across various vehicle segments – gasoline, hybrids, electric cars to name a few. Led by a team of experienced visionaries and executors in the mobility space, we are looking for problem solvers with a passion for new mobility.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You will design, develop and deliver Marketing Automation solutions using the SFMC Platform, including email, SMS, and push notification camp
  • Be the subject matter expert in Marketing Automation - delivering advice, guidance and best practices for SFMC implementation. Overall Experience
  • At least 5 years of IT experience working on the design and execution of data-driven marketing initiatives, with minimum 3 years of experiences in SFMC.
  • Able to meet customer business requirements that are maintainable, scalable, and contribute to long-term customer success.
  • Proven experience on the Subscription & un-subscription process, data integration from external sources, administration and configuration of the Marketing Cloud applications.
  • Have implemented marketing automation solutions using the tools provided by Salesforce Marketing Cloud which includes Email Studios, Mobile Studio, Advertisement Studio, Social Studio, Web Studio, Automation Studio, Analytics Builder (Reporting), Journey Builder, Personalization Builder and Audience Builder.
  • Have experience in Integrating SFMC with Sales & Service Cloud, other external systems.

Your Qualities

  • You have experience, skills, knowledge, and ability to: Implement Journeys for various customer life cycle
  • Make data- driven decisions to optimize email campaigns.
  • Incorporate different tools such as segmentation, automation, tracking, and analytics
  • Troubleshoot and solve platform issues.
  • Configure Contact Builder.
  • Utilize scripting for use in Email personalization (AMPscript, Guide Template Language, Server-Side Javascript).
  • Configure account setup and administration (BUs, roles and permissions, profiles, SAP, RMM, Users, subscriber filters, FTP). Have worked in Agile projects
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization
