Accounts Payable Specialist
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor through providing timely and accurate support of accounting operations while satisfying internal control and audit requirements.
What you’ll do to be Sixt-cessful:
- Handle high volume, between 500 – 700 invoices weekly
- Review all invoices for accuracy and completeness in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Research, track and resolve accounting problems
- Performs accounting and clerical functions to support Accounting Manager
- Establishes, develops and maintains vendor relationships
- Maintains accounting records by making copies, scanning and filing documents
- Coordinates accounting procedures with our Accounting Department in Germany
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Opens mail and distributes to the proper department and/or branch
- Assist with special projects as needed.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of 2-3 years of applicable experience is required
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent work ethic; willing to take on multiple tasks
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Dependable, cooperative and willing to assist others
- Knowledge of MS Office software Word and Excel
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Proficiency in English.
