Travel Sales Account Manager

As a Travel Sales Manager, you will focus on the strategic management of (local) corporate and leisure travel agency partners in the US.

What you’ll do to be sixt-cessful:

  • Independently identify and build relationships with corporate clients at corporate travel agencies to increase business
  • Negotiate agreements with existing and new local partners
  • Strategically plan sales activities and have regular review meetings to monitor revenue development & growth
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our corporate and leisure travel agencies in US
  • Conduct training, sales calls, workshops and further marketing activities with our partners
  • Attend industry events to build brand awareness and build partnerships within the travel industry
  • Responsible for the regional marketing budget and planning customized activities
  • Work closely with the International Travel Sales Team, Marketing and Product Management on optimizing our products.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 years of Outside Sales experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience meeting sales quotas or working in highly commissioned positions preferred
  • Existing network of decision-makers in the travel industry preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to follow defined service and sales processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage stressful or unusual situations to maintain good customer service
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week including day and/or evening hours
  • Basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Travel at least 30%, or as required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, project management), HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems and Payroll software.
