Director of HRIS & Analytics

The Director of HRIS & Analytics partners with and supports the talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and employee engagement teams with HRIS systems management, project management, and reporting and analytics necessary to drive organizational results. This role will ensure the integrity, accuracy and proper use of HR information and will develop and maintain effective HR management reports and statistical information within prescribed timeframes. The role will oversee HR operational tasks and ensure efficiency and consistency.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Drives timely use of data analysis to maintain and improve HR operations, processes and programs by analyzing and reporting on raw data, workflow, and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This includes support to the Human Resource leaders to identify business challenges, using data analysis to help influence and evaluate changes to the operations, process, or programs
  • Creates and maintains talent focused dashboards to help drive decisions which get used across the organization and with the board of directors
  • Supports overall HR systems processes and procedures by partnering with Talent and Culture leaders and team members to continually improve processes to maximize productivity and drive success. Supports the HR teams constant drive for process improvement, working with colleagues to ensure data quality and effective project management discipline across the Talent & Culture department
  • Supports organizations’ senior leadership in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive workforce analytics via formal presentations, standard management reporting artifacts on monthly/quarterly/annual basis and ad hoc support as needed
  • Develops operational key performance indicators and provides data management support; Leads and manages complex HR projects and programs including the development and management of project plans, deliverables, and change management generates regular and ad hoc reports, including those resulting from metrics as defined by the business
  • Leads Talent budget planning and facilitates budget management in strong partnership with Finance and Talent leads
  • Leads the development and validation of HR information systems and shapes the applications strategy for the present and evolving HR functions that meet current and future business strategies. Consults with and provides guidance to HR leaders regarding effective systems design and tool deployment
  • Manages HR systems and produces required reporting to support and maintain regulatory compliance, legal and governmental regulations (ERISA, IRS, HIPPA EEOC, etc.). Implements safeguards to ensure employee data privacy and protection
  • Manages multiple vendor relationships including service levels, contracts, and related data interfaces
  • Uses strong knowledge of human resource policies and procedures to incorporate best practices into the companies HR technology processes, methodologies, and output
  • Maintains accurate system setup and table maintenance, including configuration and customization changes

Your Qualities

  • Bachelor's Degree required with preference for an advanced degree
  • Minimum 5 years of cross-industry experience (mobility) in an HRIS or related role
  • Project Management and/or prior HRIS/HRMS implementation and management experience a plus (i.e. integration, regression testing, and bug tracking), documentation, production migration, post-implementation support, assessments, enhancement, and refinements
  • Experience and expertise with payroll, benefits, time tracking systems and processes required
  • Expert excel skills
  • Six sigma preferred
