Director, Talent Acquisiton

The Director, Talent acquisition is responsible for finding and retaining excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans based on staffing needs
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs or other events
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Builds, leads, and manages a team of client recruiters on the day-to-day execution for all recruiting and sourcing assignments
  • Monitors daily, weekly and monthly recruiting flow, processes and key metrics to adjust tactics and guide recruiters to achieve goals
  • Develops strategies to address immediate, and to anticipate and respond to long range, recruiting needs, based on established metrics, market indicators and pre-determined goals
  • Partners with hiring leaders via results-focus and strong communication practices to meet the clinical and business priorities and staffing need for job families and areas
  • Evaluates and improves Candidate Experience from job posting through Interview phase
  • Proactively identifies targeted talent communities based upon function and geographies for ongoing recruitment
  • Manages, grows, motivates, and energizes team and function

Your Qualities

  • BSc/BA in business administration, human resources or relevant field
  • Proven experience as talent acquisition manager
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
  • Excellent communicator
  • Well-organized
  • A leader and strategic thinker
