Repair and Reconditioning Manager

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead, organise and guide the team to improve through your excellent leadership skills.
  • Manage the department’s daily tasks and activities in line with relevant SLAs.
  • Ensure all the department’s KPIs are met.
  • Be responsible for all in-life repair activities including bookings with suppliers, cost estimates, damage assessments and repair cost approvals.
  • Lead the downtime management activity in the department and reduce downtime.
  • Supervise and support the de-fleet inspectors in order to reduce cost.
  • Work closely with suppliers and solve problems before they arise.
  • Manage timely and accurate invoice validation for all department’s accounts.
  • Provide regular management reports to the Head of Repair & Reconditioning and the Fleet Director.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects that aim to improve the department’s efficiency, output and help reduce overall cost.
  • Liaise and work closely with colleagues on all levels in the UK headquarters, operations and in the corporate headquarters in Germany and provide expertise to all departments in the wider business

  • Qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor and a minimum work experience of 5 years.
  • Competency in various computer applications systems including Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be proficient in Audatex.
  • A natural leader with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Innovative, problem solver with the ability to make good business decisions.
  • Ability and experience of leading, motivating a team and achieving targets.
  • Drive and self-motivation to accomplish objectives.
  • Innovative, dynamic and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
