Marketing Specialist

As marketing and communication responsible you will help developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. You will take initiative in campaigns to strengthen brand identity and establish competitive advantages. Main goals will be to increase the volume of cars rented from Italian customers and to promote the fame of the brand in Italy. You will be in charge to identify new strategies in the local digital arena by identifying potential area of improvement and either by acting directly with the potential partners or by coordinating with our central marketing departments.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, propose and support the implementation of strategic partnerships to increase the sales and the profitability within segments served in the country
  • Coordinate the organization of events (shows, seminars, public relations, event B2B) to promote our brand and create speaking opportunities
  • Manage and support the implementation of direct marketing actions (mailing, e-mailing, vouchers and pay-back)

  • Ensure the alignment of the PR strategy (elaboration of press releases, press kits, press meetings) with the Global strategy
  • Animation of the social and media channels in coordination with central office in Munich (Facebook page, Twitter, networks of blogs)
  • Implementation of internal communication actions (newsletters, intranet newspaper)
  • Lead the execution of the national advertising campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years working experience within e-commerce and digital environment. Experience within car rental sector or within tourism is a plus
  • BSc/BA in sales and marketing or business administration
  • Experience in SEM campaigns is highly preferable at least as initial step of your career
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement - you understand what drives value for in our marketplace and can make sensible commercial decisions to reflect this
  • Effective project management - experience delivering on a multifaceted projects with many stakeholders
  • Stellar relationship building skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen, from negotiation to execution
  • Ability to adapt with humility and resilience
  • A passion for Sixt brand and culture together with strong commitment to grow the number of local customers in Italy.
