Software Test Manager (m/f/d)

We are substantially growing our software development teams and are looking for an experienced Software Test Manager (m/f/d) to help us ensure that we deliver highest-quality solutions that work well for our customers. Your focus will be on managing end-to-end testing by working very closely with an established group of testers embedded in the agile development teams responsible for manual and automated tests. Your responsibilities will especially include assuring quality for completely new products and services. You will start by helping to shape and review requirements, then work with the development teams and their testers when building the systems to finally set up, coordinate and run tests as an integrated part of the flow. The position is part of the Finance domain, which covers all finance-related topics, starting from payment handling via invoicing to correctly booking and accounting. End-to-end testing involves a deep understanding of the customer-facing products to ensure that the entire flow works smoothly and seamlessly, even in error cases such as declined payments.   • You will plan and execute large testing projects owning the end-to-end quality delivery all the way to go live and beyond in your domain, working closely with developers, testers, and product stakeholders
  • You will create end-to-end test cases, align with involved teams and coordinate and take part in the execution
  • You will work across teams to identify testing dependencies and blockers and keep stakeholders updated on the progress
  • You will provide test data - real, mocked or simulated - to drive testing, working closely with our Test Data Management team
  • You will question and optimize business processes and implementations. You don't mind coming up with suggestions for improvement


  • You are a Software Test Manager (m/f/d) with a high passion focusing on quality in cross-functional teams, have successfully managed testing in large distributed software projects and for complex processes
  • You have a degree in computer science or a similar technical field and experience in a similar position working with distributed international teams
  • You have experience with leveraging log analyses to pinpoint issues and setting up and utilising monitoring to ensure the smooth launch and operation of complex systems in a microservices environment
  • You are a team player, show motivation and enjoy communication, interacting with a lot of different stakeholders in a proactive way
  • You ideally have experience with finance-related processes such as payment, invoicing and accounting and are a fast learner who can quickly and confidently tackle new areas
