Graphic Designer

We are looking for a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to support our U.S.-based marketing and communications initiatives and further develop the SIXT brand in the USA with marketing materials, online and offline promotions, digital displays for web and out of home, photography, and videography. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of modern design, a good eye for camera angles, is detail oriented, and will deliver in a timely and professional manner while implementing our corporate identity into every published asset. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale and will closely work with many different departments across our organization to maintain a cohesive tone, look, and feel of the brand across all channels.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage layout, design, and production of graphic design projects
  • Develop creative concepts and new graphic assets for all online/offline communication and events following the corporate identity guidelines
  • Modify existing graphics and templates, update collateral with new information as needed
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset library, source new images/footage and replace expired items on a regular basis
  • Work closely with the central procurement team and local vendors on quotes and orders for print materials
  • Quote, process, and place orders for custom marketing items for branches
  • Conduct occasional photo/video shootings of vehicles and branches to generate renderings and prepare presentations and videos
  • Monitor competitors and stay apprised of current design trends and technologies to implement them for the brand
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle large orders and invoices

Your Qualities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field and min. 5 years of work experience
  • Native English speaker who understands the American culture and knows trending advertising & content formats
  • Proven experience in creating catchy and engaging graphics for traditional, new, and social media in an established, corporate environment
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality visual content that achieves deep client engagement and inspiring brand identity while following brand guidelines
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with particular focus on Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Fully adept in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as Jira or similar project management tools
  • Proven photography/videography skills, motion graphic skills are a plus
  • Copywriting skills and affinity for travel or automotive industry are a plus
  • Outstanding work ethic, able to listen, collaborate well, take initiative, meet deadlines, think outside the box and implement creative problem-solving
  • Comfortable with changing priorities and switching gears on the fly while remaining extremely detail-oriented and following CI guidelines
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week and work flexible hours/days of week or weekend if needed
  • Able to travel by plane or car domestically and internationally; occasional moving/staging of vehicles and participation in events may be required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
