Turnaround Manager - Amsterdam Area

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • As Turnaround Manager in the Amsterdam Region, you will be responsible for the full turnaround of all Amsterdam branches; while ensuring first class quality of fleet and staff. As an essential part of operations in the Amsterdam region, you will be responsible for the development of your team and department to - with a strategic mindset - create structured operational processes, control costs and ensure premium quality.
  • Create an efficient (turnaround) process for all physical and digital Sixt locations in the Amsterdam region and continuously optimize your processes.
  • Organize and facilitate staff meetings to keep employees motivated and informed of business operations.
  • Ensure good staff coverage for the regional turnaround.
  • Uphold company standards and processes.
  • Fully understand- and take ownership of all operations related topics.
  • Work closely together with the commercial manager and fleet supervisor and create efficient working practices.
  • Understand cost control and take strategic decisions when necessary.

Your Qualities

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • You distinguish yourself through your operational way of thinking and hands-on mentality.
  • 2 years of management experience required.
  • Must have 2-4 years of work experience in an operational environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • You must have exceptional interpersonal-, leadership skills and strong communication skills.
  • You have exceptional English skills.
  • Must be able to work 38 hours per week.
  • Must be willing to wear company uniforms.
