Front Desk Coordinator

As Front Desk Coordinator reporting to the Executive Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Sixt Headquarters in administrative functions, in addition to special projects.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Professionally administers all incoming calls and ensures that phone calls are redirected accordingly
  • Greets guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office and lunchroom supplies
  • Acts as a liaison with company vendors (i.e., caterers, office supplies, coffee/water suppliers, cleaning/maintenance etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and day-to-day maintenance of the reception area, lunch room and conference rooms daily
  • Receives, sorts and delivers mail and incoming deliveries (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track office mail of Fed Ex packages received
  • Assist in the coordination of office tasks (e.g., ordering equipment for new hires, assisting with office space placement
  • Projects as neededCoordinate birthday, holiday, and other celebrations
  • Likely to require at least 5-10% travel, some of which may be by airplane by automobile (e.g., post office runs, food pickup for meetings, miscellaneous errands
  • Perform other administrative job duties or special projects as assigned to meet the business needs.

Your Qualities

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Administrative background highly preferred; “can do” attitude is a must!
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week including day and/or evening hours
  • Must be willing and able to travel for training and othera variety of business needs
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must be willing to wear company uniforms
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Ability to communicate in other languages is a plus.
