Director Last Mile Delivery (m/f/d)

Our aim is to shape the future of vehicle delivery services within SIXT! As Director Last Mile Delivery (m/f/d), you are the business owner to create a delivery experience that is not only reliable and transparent to customers, but also efficient and globally scalable for our SIXT branches. In this role, you will be the main contact for product & engineering teams, headquarter functions (e.g. sales, consumer products, e-commerce), local country headquarters and operations. You connect the dots to enable and constantly optimize the delivery & collection platform and dispatching tool. You accelerate feedback for implementation, facilitate market launches and drive product adoption by both customers and branches. By doing so, you optimize customer experience and reduce complexity in the day-to-day work of our colleagues at the branches. Interested?   • You create a detailed business concept for the best-in-class vehicle delivery & collection domain and translate this into clear guidance for your involved team(s)
  • You deep-dive into our local market-specific processes and identify potential for optimization and automation
  • You drive a variety of key process initiatives such as our delivery & collection platform, dispatching and scheduling tool and the shift planning model
  • You develop reliable methodologies to optimize our ability in successfully and efficiently delivering the right vehicle to the right customer at the right time
  • As the bridge between product & engineering teams, world wide operations and business stakeholders across the hierarchy, you build consensus and facilitate constant communication & feedback
  • You are willing to make clear and pragmatic decisions based on the balance between business priorities, user needs and your business case


  • You got profound experience in operations, logistics, product management, delivery or service environment with a history of delivering results
  • You are willing to roll-up your sleeves to drive the implementation of new processes
  • You have the ability to understand complex topics and make them easy for a variety of different stakeholders to understand
  • You are outstanding at building and motivating a team as well as managing cross-functional relationships
  • You have a great analytical understanding and the ability to build a solid business cases to support your domain
  • You remain calm and make pragmatic decisions when dealing with a variety of different workstreams
