Director Projectmanagement - IT Transformation (m/f/d)

Help us to speed up on our journey and join our IT Transformation & Modernization unit as Director Project Management (m/f/d). In this central and leading role, you will support our TECH Divisions, accelerate, and lead topics like our cloud migration, the coordinated shutdown of old systems and several other strategic initiatives to success.


  • You drive strategic TECH Transformation & Modernization projects and initiatives in cross-functional teams by strategic guidance, project management and hands-on support
  • You collaborate closely with our SIXT TECH Engineering- and Platform Divisions as well as Product Owners and business stakeholders during the preparation and implementation of these projects
  • You ensure that planned initiatives and projects meet their targets and are delivered on time. With effective project management tools and lean KPI reporting, you always make progress transparent
  • Thanks to you we can rely on strategic planning, dependency management and alignment across projects
  • You manage effective communication with all relevant stakeholders, interdisciplinary and in an international context


  • You are a leader, program manager or project manager (m/f/d) with deep knowledge and proven experience in managing big and complex projects in IT. In a leading role you successfully managed and finished at least one large-scale project with a significant transformation or change impact
  • You have excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with people at all levels in the organization in both, IT and business. In times of conflicting interests, you can lead and motivate
  • You learn fast, get things done and can work independently, take initiative and follow-through with strong problem-solving and structural skills
  • You understand Public Cloud Services and databases as well as software engineering processes
  • You speak English fluently. German is a plus but not required
