Senior Manager of Airport Relations ( Long Beach, CA)
SIXT is growing exponentially and is in search of a Senior Manager of Airport Relations to build and nurture relationships with airport authorities to protect SIXT’s interests and help to gain market share and increase presence on US airports. In this role, you will directly impact the business by leading the establishment of corporate strategies, policies and plans which aligns with airport regulations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SIXT’s relationship with key airport stakeholders, consultants, and Board members
- Establish new airport locations
- Lead the reallocation process of existing airport locations
- Report revenue statements and other regulatory requirements to airport officials in a timely manner
- Serve as the point of contact and represent SIXT in key airport meetings
- Negotiate the terms and conditions of all airport agreements and contracts to optimize brand placement and space allocation with positive impacts
- Negotiate extensions of airport concession agreements where SIXT is currently operating
- Review airport bid documents to identify issues and opportunities
- Perform reviews and analysis of airport lease and concession agreements
- Follow through with various internal departments to make sure all airport agreements are upheld, and SIXT adheres to all contractual commitments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, or related field required; MBA or law degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in advocacy or public policy required
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision is required
- Strong government contacts at local, state, and federal levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
