Project Manager - Construction and Interiors
The Project Manager-Construction will oversee assigned construction projects. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure projects are completed according to company design expectations and quality standards on-time and within budget.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reviews and influences renderings and interior designs for construction(s) or remodeling(s)
- Manages all facets of project management from design to handover, including schedule and budget
- Reviews bids and provides feedback on accuracy and value engineering opportunities
- Tracks financials and costs to ensure alignment with project budget
- Conducts site visits as necessary to ensure design expectations, quality standards, and project timelines are being met
- Works with third-party vendors to supply FFE
- Provides status reports to Executive Director of Construction and operations on progress of projects
- Communicates with internal stakeholders on project status and known risks
- Hosts project meetings (weekly, bi-weekly) with internal and external teams
Your Qualities
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, construction or management of construction projects—airport experience a plus
- First-hand experience in managing projects and teams
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and construction contracts
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel 20-30% of the time
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship for this position now or in the future
