Graphic Designer - Email (m/f/d)

So you can design emails? Then we have a job for you! SIXT is looking for an awesome email designer (m/f/d) to join our team in Pullach. If visual communication is your thing, and you know how to catch someone’s attention every time they open an email, this is your position. We are looking for a designer (m/f/d) to join our spritely, international and motivated team to help create great email communication that goes out to over 150 countries.


  • You design responsive mobile, tablet, desktop, and web client email, as well as newsletters and CI aligned graphics for our products
  • You create HTML coded email templates, work new ideas and concepts, and have an understanding of email marketing best practices (e.g. CAN-SPAM rules)
  • You code dynamic templates in Salesforce to enable marketing professionals to work on campaigns using the new templates
  • You optimize and test the performance, deliverability, and user experience through A/B Testing of new or existing campaigns, minding relevant KPIs, across all major email clients
  • You develop and research for innovations in email design, being always up to date when it comes to how the design translates into an effective email campaign
  • You work closely with our copy writer to ensure consistent messaging towards customers and collaborate with other teams and relevant stakeholders (e.g., marketing, loyalty)


  • You have at least three years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, hence bring sharpened ability to understand and implement our brand identity and design accordingly
  • You are proficient in email design and responsive layouts as well as HTML knowledge, plus knowledge of CSS within email standards, for coding email templates
  • You have very good experience with image editing and slicing using Photoshop, and come with a natural interest in layout, typography and a pixel level attention to detail
  • You can manage and prioritize multiple projects and work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented and well-organized regarding production and QA processes
  • You communicate on a very high level, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting; also, you communicate proactively to confirm requirements, status on work requests and timelines; German is not required
