Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d)

The central Business Intelligence team builds the SIXT Data Platform and delivers analytical BI services to all business units and embedded analytics teams. Our main product, the SIXT Data Shop, collects tens of millions of events daily, processes them according to our consumer’s needs and services them via a toolbox ranging from self-service batch processes to modern data discovery & dashboarding capabilities and to real-time ML model endpoints. Our current main challenges are to consult all business users how to apply data in their daily business decisions and to provide analytical insights for strategic topics.   • You define standardized business logic for central key performance indicators, align them with business stakeholders and validate the implementation results. You ensure that data quality monitoring is integral part of all BI products
  • You improve our existing reporting structures by continuously evaluating the optimal fit with our organization, our processes and our products
  • You apply modern self-service BI technologies and you support all business users to grow their analytical skills in order to become a truly data-driven organisation
  • You support strategic cross-unit initiatives with dashboards, ad-hoc analytics and insights
  • You contribute to our SIXT data strategy and execution with new ideas and your own curiosity


  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Business Administration
  • You have first professional experience in working as a BI/Data Analyst
  • You have good experience in SQL and data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview)
  • You are experienced in applying standard statistical functions for deep-dive analytics. Knowledge in Python/R is a plus
  • You enjoy collaborating with different business units (Sales, Marketing, Controlling, Customer Service) and sharing knowledge with other BI/Analytics Specialists
  • As you will also be working with international teams, you speak very good English. German language skills are also a plus
