Investment Controller (m/f/d)

In order to grow profitably, we need to optimally manage our costs and challenge our procurement projects. With growing importance of budget monitoring and linked data insights to stakeholders, we are currently looking for a Procurement Investment Controller (m/f/d). The Investment Controller will act independently and take ownership of key budget related topics from a procurement perspective. He/She/They will be part of the Procurement Excellence team based in Rostock, Munich or Berlin and will report directly to the Procurement Excellence Executive Manager.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You challenge budgets of new project business cases throughout the year with identified responsibles, department heads and board
  • You drive the yearly planning of budgets for 13 corporate countries from the Procurement side (prepare run-rate costs, align specific central and decentral overhead costs with group controlling and commodity budget leads, coordinate budget establishment in procurement systems)
  • You will monitor active key project costs from a procurement point of view
  • You structure data from procurement tools (e.g., Coupa Analytics)
  • You communicate data insights to relevant stakeholders in a format to develop

Your Qualities

  • You have completed a university degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration or a comparable degree with above-average success
  • You have at least 1 to 2 years of work experience
  • You are enthusiastic about data, have strong analytical and conceptual skills and are a fast learner
  • You have advanced skills in Excel. Knowledge of SQL and dashboard tools such as Qlikview and Coupa Analytics would be preferred
  • You are able to work independently and also have communication skills to align with stakeholders
  • You have strong written and spoken English. Knowledge of German is a plus
