Quantitative Analyst

Our Company is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Quantitative Analyst to join our Pricing and Revenue Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, developing pricing strategies, and optimizing revenue generation. This role requires a blend of statistical knowledge, business acumen, and technical expertise. The Quantitative Analyst will work closely with the teams managing pricing and fleet levels across North America in Sixt’s Corporate Office in Fort Lauderdale. This individual will act as a subject matter expert in large data analytics, will be hands-on with multiple internal systems and will communicate information and metrics to various departments.

About the department:
Pricing focuses on market-oriented and margins-optimising product and price management for all business sectors and customer groups in order to create long-term value for the company. The yield management is primarily concerned with maximising revenue through utility and price-oriented management of the fleet and demand. Issues such as planning and composition of the fleet size, predicting the fleet and demand and regulating imports and modulation of vehicles are addressed here. Furthermire, demand adjustments are carried out if necessary through price and availability controls.

Lo que ofrecemos

• Develop and implement sophisticated mathematical models and algorithms for pricing optimization, utilizing techniques such as regression analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand and forecast market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative insights into business strategies and decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with IT and data management teams to ensure the accuracy and availability of relevant data.

• Rapid prototype, develop, and maintain (in Python / SQL / R) analytical toolkits and Business Intelligence Dashboards supporting the Pricing & Revenue Management and Fleet Management teams

• Communicate complex quantitative concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.

Lo que traes contigo

• Bachelor's degree required

• Coursework or work experience applying predictive modeling techniques, statistics, mathematics, data science, and computer programming to large data sets

• Qualifying coursework may include-but is not limited to-statistics, mathematical programming, optimization, machine learning, computational methods, design and analysis of algorithms, Bayesian methods, derivatives, and Monte Carlo methods/modeling

• Coursework or work experience writing statistical and/or optimization programs to develop models and algorithms. Programming languages may include-but are not limited to-Python, R, SQL, Java, SAS, and MATLAB

* Ability to independently follow through and complete projects within a deadline

* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
