Jr. Turnaround Operations Manager (west Coast Long Beach, CA)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analyze & develop current turnaround process at our Sixt US corporate locations.
  • Prepare, implement, execute training, & ensure sustainable implementation of central guidelines for the Turnaround Management.
  • Provide continuous follow up with Return Agents on how to properly document vehicle damage, notify the renter of damage documented, and provide sufficient documentation to the Claims Department, all while maintaining customer service.
  • Provide weekly & monthly reporting to senior management & company executives of current progress and future goals.
  • Analyze current KPI’s, interpret areas of deficiencies & achievements, and provide feedback to branch, regional, & country managers.
  • Develop proposals for improving & developing processes in areas of deficiencies.
  • Build & establish relationships with Branch Managers, staff, Service Providers, and vendors.

Your Qualities

  • Degree in Business Management preferred or minimum 2 years in process implementation & training / development.
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% with multiple overnight stays in other cities.
  • Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish), German, Portuguese a plus
  • Experience in the process and quality management of a car rental or the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Be able to provide constructive criticism / feedback
  • Must have excellent presentation, teaching, & motivational skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Able to read reports, identify deficiencies, and come up with projects on how to improve the current process.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
