Senior Quality Manager
Sixt Rent-a-Car is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to play a critical role in the business by ensuring all locations in the U.S. meet certain standards. The Senior Quality Manager will oversee a team who will assist them in implementing new processes and procedures to improve the business. This is a national role focusing on the quality of the customer experience with Sixt, including the efficiency of processes, cleanliness of cars, quality customer interactions, as well as overall corporate identity (CI) compliance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality management team
- Coordinate changes in guidelines and policies, sending change requests to Germany, and updating relevant documents
- Oversee customer service and quality reporting and analysis on possible improvements
- Oversee the creation, rollout, and compliance of standard operating procedures
- Conduct quarterly training on quality management topics for management trainees
- Oversee branch audits and general branch corporate identity
- Actively look for process improvements within the business and push ideas forward
- Oversee branch excellence rankings, annual goal setting, and monthly fraud reports
- Oversee purchasing projects including arranging special orders for uniforms, finding local vendors of uniforms, and negotiating and forecasting the purchase of other branch materials
Your Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Analytics or related field
- Likely to require at least 30% travel, some of which may be by airplane
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry, 5 of them leading people
- Experience in Sixt operations strongly preferred
- Customer service orientated (as the role will oversee customer service scores for the US)
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with leadership on sensitive and/or emotional issues
- Experience coaching and training employees
- Experience mapping and standardizing processes
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Proficiency in English, and the ability to communicate in other languages (German, Spanish, etc.) is a plus
