As the Global Head of Total Rewards, you will design and lead a holistic, future-focused Total Rewards strategy that reinforces our performance-driven culture and supports business growth — particularly in key international markets like the US. Reporting directly to the CHRO, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and ensure our compensation and benefits programs attract, retain and motivate top talent at all levels. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

  • You lead and evolve a global Total Rewards strategy, embedding a pay-for-performance philosophy that rewards measurable outcomes and cultural contribution
  • You own and further revamp our global grading framework to ensure scalability, clarity and alignment with business growth and talent structures and design and implement a global job architecture in Workday ensuring consistency across functions, countries and leadership levels
  • You manage global compensation processes including base pay, bonus structures (STI), long-term incentives (LTI) and executive pay and optimize our benefits portfolio, focusing on well-being, flexibility and regional competitiveness
  • You advise our CHRO and senior leadership on compensation and partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Management, Finance, Legal and senior business leaders to drive alignment and cross-functional delivery
  • You use data analytics and benchmarking to continuously improve the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of reward programs and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements globally (e.g., IRS, SEC, EU directives)
  • You lead and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team with a strong execution mindset

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

  • Academic background You have a degree in HR, Finance, Business or a related field
  • Professional background: You have gained many years of international experience in Total Rewards or Compensation & Benefits, including leadership responsibility and global scope and have a proven track record in revamping existing grading structures and implementing scalable job architectures
  • Expertise You bring expertise in European and U.S. compensation and benefits, including executive pay, equity plans and regulatory frameworks
  • Skills You are an excellent communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders and are a strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills
  • Tools Ideally, you have hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in the areas of Compensation and Job Architecture
  • Languages You are fluent in English, German is a plus
