About the department:
Pricing focuses on market-oriented and margins-optimising product and price management for all business sectors and customer groups in order to create long-term value for the company. The yield management is primarily concerned with maximising revenue through utility and price-oriented management of the fleet and demand. Issues such as planning and composition of the fleet size, predicting the fleet and demand and regulating imports and modulation of vehicles are addressed here. Furthermire, demand adjustments are carried out if necessary through price and availability controls.

What we offer

Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Revenue Analyst with a keen interest in the rental car market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing revenue streams, developing pricing strategies, and optimizing the profitability of our rental car services. Your mission is to harness the power of data to inform our business strategies, guide our decision-making, and unlock opportunities for growth. The Revenue Analyst will be directly involved in the dynamic pricing adjustments that are critical for managing profitability and operational efficiency in one or more of our domestic markets. This individual will act as a subject matter expert on pricing & demand concerns (strategy, competitor data, market trends, etc.), and will be hands-on with multiple internal systems and will communicate information and metrics to Regional Vice-Presidents and various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily revenue performance and make proactive price adjustments to maximize margins and fleet utilization, ensuring optimal balance between demand and supply.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to align pricing strategies with inventory levels, fleet utilization, and operational capacity
  • Participate in the design of internal reporting systems and the implementation of relevant ad-hoc analyses • Assist in the development and maintenance of revenue management tools and systems to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for long-term revenue growth and market expansion opportunities
  • Manage projects for optimization in the field of revenue management and pricing.

What you bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Familiarity with target group segmentation, competition analysis, price control, and profit optimization
  • Excellent computer skills, and strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
  • Ability to multi-task and distribute efforts appropriately among tasks, manage competing deadlines, handle frequent interruptions, and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Experience in SQL, databases, or Visual Basic a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset and distinct understanding of numbers High degree of organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to independently follow through and complete projects within a deadline
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
  • Proficiency in English; further languages such as German are a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
