The Program Manager, Training and Talent Development will oversee the SIXT Operations Leadership Development program. The program aims to train, support, and track team members through their career development in our field operations. Responsibilities include developing, coaching, coordinating, and managing new and tenured team members throughout their participation in the program. The Program Manager must be able to work independently as well as on a team, make sound counseling decisions, and accurately prioritize tasks. This position will work in collaboration with the Director of Operations, Training and Development and the Director, Leadership Development to achieve the goals of the program for SIXT North America. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage program participants and their progress throughout the program.
  • Oversee all components of the program including mentorship, branch rotation, training completions, assessments and evaluations.
  • Manage participants' performance and provide coaching/feedback as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the training programs components.
  • Facilitate and coordinate virtual and in person training sessions. 
  • Track and report participant progress, challenges, and solutions. 
  • Liaison with branch leaders and HQ departments for participant rotation and expected program deliverables.
  • Evaluate participant’s performance using appropriate tools and make next step recommendations.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback from operations team.
  • Liaise with business partners, business owners and subject matter experts for content review and maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and manage program changes and updates as needed. 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-5 years of management and training experience required.
  • Talent development experience or certification (APTD, CPTD, CPTM) preferred.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional public speaking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in other languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours. 
  • Must be able to travel 20-40% of the job domestically and internationally, which includes by airplane.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • May be required to lift up to 50lbs.
