Database Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
Within the Database Team you can work with databases as well as AWS technologies. We are not only dealing with databases, but also heading towards CI/CD and constantly improving our systems by securing services and enabling our organizations to utilize the infrastructure we provide. But you will not only be responsible for providing and maintaining the infrastructure and database setup but also responsible for operating our services within the AWS Cloud. Sounds like you? DO WHAT YOU LOVE:
- You work on database reliability and performance aspects from within the SRE team as well as work on shipping solutions with the product
- You contribute to the design of the solution, implementation of infrastructure design and document your implementation
- You work with peer SREs to roll out changes to our production environment and help mitigate database-related production incidents
- You support operations and take over responsibility for productive processes
- You provide database expertise to engineering teams and coach our DEVs for efficient SQLs / DB Performance etc.
COME AS YOU ARE:
- You have several years of work experience running Oracle Databases in large production environments
- You have some professional experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management
- You have proficient knowledge of AWS Cloud Services and technologies
- You have proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferable Terraform
- You are not afraid to maintain other databases like MySQL or MSSQL
