Operations Management Trainee Benelux

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Managing a branch (e.g. controlling branch results, monitoring prices, safeguarding branch profitability)
  • Managing a team (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, management, performance reviews)
  • Local and incremental sales
  • Exemplary customer service

Your Qualities:

  • Bachelor or master's degree
  • 0 - 2 years of work experience in a commercial environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing to be positioned anywhere in the Benelux during your traineeship
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, other languages such as German and French would be a plus

Through this, you get an overview of our business and establish your own internal and external network throughout Sixt worldwide. The program is structured in four phases. First "The Basic phase", followed by "The Supervisory phase" and finally "The Management phase". The Project phase comes during these three phases.

In every phase you will experience an exciting mix of day-to-day business and project work in different departments (e.g. Sales, Fleet Management, People Management, Finance, Yield, Pricing, KPI management). One of our managers will be your personal mentor. Personal development is the key focus within your traineeship and is based on ‘learning on the job’.

As a mobility service provider, our Branches & Operations division is the point of contact with our customers: whether by phone, app or directly in our SIXT branches. This means: premium service directly to the customer, advice and sales in exchange and responsibility for the rental process of our premium fleet.
