Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) in Lisbon (hybrid) to work with our Global Customer Sales & Service Organization. As a Business / Data Performance Analyst, Data Scientist, Controller and valued Business Partner (m/w/f) your work and recommendations will play a crucial role shaping the future of the division and the success of SIXT.   • Based on your proper evaluation of the status quo optimize and build the BA structures of the future. This will include building a single source of truth for all raw data, streamlining KPI definitions and creating new reporting views.
  • Support the raw data and KPI consolidation project 
  • Support the development of budgets and forecasts for the global customer sales and service division (Service Levels, Customer Experience, Revenue, Costs etc.) 
  • Bundle BI requirements for data & KPI augmentation and quality improvements 
  • Build driver trees  
  • Create insightful Reports, Dashboards and Visualizations across reporting levels (strategic to operational) for enhanced decision making (Excel and Reporting Tool) 
  • Align performance & steering dashboards with Business Units 
  • Analyse, interpret and disseminate performance reviews across KPIs as part of our weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences 
  • Continuously track CS&S (Customer Sales & Service) performance topics and proactively flag developments 
  • Conduct ad hoc deep dives using your advanced data analytics skills 
  • Keep an eye on the performance of internal and external service providers 
  • Do not just explain the obvious, provide business relevant insights and recommendations based on your solid understanding of the customer service operation 
  • Be a sparring partner to and member of the Customer Sales & Service Leadership Team 
  • Partner with other departments and senior leaders especially in Controlling, Finance, Workforce Management and Data Science and BI 


  • You are a strategist, visionary and a doer all in one 
  • Bachelor’s degree business administration, information systems, or comparable required  
  • 5 years of BU-specific work experience at least 3 years as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst 
  • Outstanding analytical skills including working knowledge of financial statement analysis, operational KPIs, forecasting etc. 
  • Independent development of reporting structures and KPIs are no challenge for you 
  • Previous experience in building budgets and forecasting 
  • An intrinsic eagerness to understand the operational side of the business to derive better recommendations, hence business decisions
  • You enjoy preparing data and presenting it in a clear and meaningful way and support teams in learning self-service  
  • Outstanding command of Excel 
  • Excellent knowledge of Reporting Tools such as Qlik, Tableau and / or Looker 
  • Good SQL skills and knowledge of data structures and platforms  
  • Good command of PowerPoint 
  • Strong written, and oral communications skills – including statistical report writing, building and giving presentations to senior leaders across all levels   
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are an advantage   
  • Furthermore, you are self-driven, persistent and a team player at the same time  
  • General understanding of Customer Service Technology such as telephony, case management systems etc. of advantage  
  • Experience in and willingness to lead / participate in relevant projects 
  • Comfortable working in a global matrix organization, across multiple time zones and in a hybrid set up 
  • Customer Contact Center or service management experience in an omni-channel environment of advantage 
  • Occasional international travel might be required
