Key Account Manager - Texas

The US Sales team is looking for a Key Account Manager to be responsible for the acquisition of corporate customers. They will identify, analyze, and develop potential customers to increase Sixt’s portfolio. Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Locate and identify businesses in the New York with car rental needs
  • Contact and visit businesses, training centers, and facilities regularly to gain new business
  • Develop and nurture relationships with travel managers within the region
  • Analyze potential customer to offer Sixt products that fit their needs
  • Management of accounts including frequent visits, sales reporting, and identifying new opportunities
  • Network with small and medium sized managers in order to establish potential new business
  • Attend Networking events, trade shows, chamber meetings as well as any other assigned or recommended events within specified region
  • Maintain regular contacts to carry out programs and to assist with specialized matters, or occasional contacts with officials at higher levels on matters requiring cooperation, explanation and persuasion
  • Responds to and handles unfamiliar situations with limited or no supervisory guidance
  • Protect organizations value by keeping information confidential
  • Makes recommendations or decisions as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Your Qualities

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%, and open to increased travel in the future
  • 2+ years experience in outside sales
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Able to multi-task & prioritize
  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Ability to communicate in other languages (French, Portuguese, Hebrew, German, etc.) is a plus
