Fleet Analyst


The Business Analyst, Fleet will work with the Senior Executive Manager of Fleet Analytics to support the optimization of fleet strategy across the US. In this role, the fleet team will look to the Business Analyst to help establish and streamline processes and analyses throughout the department. This individual will also support with various initiatives across the organization dependent on need. Ideal candidates will have a superior analytical ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment. 

  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Compile key pieces of information related to fleet performance to be reviewed by company leadership on a regular basis 

  • Work closely with key members of the fleet division such as Remarketing (the reselling of vehicles) and Fleet Acquisition (the purchasing of vehicles)  

  • Process improvement, which consists of analyzing processes currently in place, constructing workflow charts, communicating changes, and following up to ensure revised processes are successfully being implemented 

  • Develop ad hoc queries and complex SQL scripts to extract desired data and metrics 

  • Utilize, create, and maintain SQL scripts used for data exchange and validation 

  • Interpret and communicate information in a manner that can be comprehended by a non-analytical audience  

  • Use spreadsheets, database systems and BI Analytics tools to aggregate data and perform analysis  

  • Bachelor of Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, or other related Business discipline 

  • Master’s in a Business discipline/MBA preferred  

  • 2+ years of experience working in an analyst capacity  

  • Demonstrated success in prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines, and communicating results 

  • Expertise with Excel, SQL and related applications 

  • Ability to communicate business users’ needs to technical team 

  • Capable of learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment
