Leadership and Talent Development Specialist


Sixt is looking for a Leadership and Development Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:

Responsibilities:

  • Execute global/corporate leadership development programs and tools in North America.
  • Aligning local requirement to global concepts including standardized leadership training, mentorship programs, high-potential development programs.
  • Implementation/Execution of the programs including planning, stakeholders management and communications.
  • Point of contact for all inquiries, primary liaison to global Center of Excellence People and Culture Development team.
  • Deliver and execute the organizations first-time-leader programs.
  • Monitor leadership programs to assess leadership potential and skill gaps among associates.
  • Use behavioral assessments and other diagnostic tools, including 360 and upward feedback to observe behaviors, provide feedback for leaders and assist in the development of action plans to increase capability, resolve conflict within groups, and ease communications processes for desired individual or team performance.
  • Conduct and facilitate leadership workshops or programs.
  • Coach and mentor leaders and teams to achieve optimal performance.
  • Design and implement coaching plans for low performers tailored to the specific needs and goals of the individual.
  • Partner with managers, HR Business Partners and senior leaders throughout the organization to assess and analyze learning needs based on performance, talent planning and assessment data.
  • Partner with training and development team to ensure course curriculum is available on-line and incorporated into the LMS tracking systems.
  • Administer and measure our internal performance management and talent evaluation programs and serve as the first point of contact and support for team members and leaders.
  • Undertake projects / activities that will develop Leaders on Site for Business Deliverables
  • Partner with local and global stakeholder groups on process and responsibilities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in leadership development to keep our programs cutting-edge.
  • Support the team and business by completing any other assigned duties and/or tasks.

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Human Resources, Education, Business or related field required
  • HR, Leadership or Training Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of training and development experience required.
  • Min 5 years of experiences with HR related topics (performance management, talent management, leadership development)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience coaching, supporting, motivating teams.
  • Proficiency with LMS, HRIS System (Workday experience preferred)
  • Project management experience or certification preferred.
  • International experience, working with various countries and cultures
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Likely to require at least 40% travel, some of which may be by airplane.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

$70,000 - $75,000
