Liability Claims Reporting Specialist (FTL-Hybrid)

As a Liability Claims Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for intake and reporting of claims, serving as the initial point of contact for calls to the Liability Department, obtaining necessary information accurately and efficiently, and responding to inquiries. Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft office and enjoy learning new software, possess problem-solving skills, and demonstrate critical thinking. Must have the ability and willingness to adapt to change, be a team player, meet and exceed deadlines all while working in a demanding fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do to be Sixt-cessful:

  • Contacts, interviews and obtains statements from customers and claimants to secure necessary FNOL (first notice of loss) reporting information.
  • Establishes and maintains strong customer and vendor partner relations
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with management and vendors throughout the claims process
  • Process incoming and outgoing emails and telephone calls
  • Adhere to all company claims handling standards and maintain a minimum standard of performance for all key performance indicators

Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED required, (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Must have customer service related experience
  • Basic knowledge of claims handling and familiarity with claims terminologies.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize various requests and handle changing priorities
  • Excellent work ethic; willing to take on multiple tasks with a sense of urgency
