Process and Structure

**How long does the dual study program last and which university does SIXT cooperate with? **
The program lasts 6 semesters and is run in cooperation with DHBW Stuttgart. You alternate between theory phases at the university and practical phases at SIXT, allowing you to apply your knowledge directly in the company.

Which departments or areas will I go through during your practical phases?
Your rotations depend on your degree program and focus area. You will complete both mandatory and elective assignments, giving you the chance to experience different teams and departments.

Where will I be working?
Your main workplace will be our headquarters in Pullach, near Munich.

Support, Feedback and Community

Will I have dedicated contacts during the program?
Yes, you will have two dedicated contacts: one for all topics around your dual study program and the exchange with DHBW, and another for professional support in your respective team.

Will I receive regular feedback?
Yes, feedback is important to us! You will receive feedback during and at the end of each practical phase to help you grow and develop.

How can I connect with other students?
Networking with other students is very important to us. During Welcome Days, networking events, and training sessions, you will meet your fellow students – also from other study programs.

Career and Perspectives

Are there opportunities for a full-time position after graduation?
Yes, that is our goal! We want to retain our dual students after graduation in suitable positions and will plan your career start at SIXT with you early on.

What international opportunities will I have?
In addition to excellent chances of being taken on after graduation, SIXT also offers international perspectives. Depending on your degree program, you can spend a semester abroad or complete a practical phase at one of our worldwide locations.

Compensation and Flexibility

Will I receive a salary during the program?
Yes, you will receive an above-average monthly salary, giving you financial flexibility.

How flexible are the working hours during the practical phases?
You will have a 40-hour week with trust-based working hours. This means you can arrange your schedule flexibly in consultation with your department.

Does SIXT provide support in finding accommodation?
There is no direct support, but we recommend platforms such as Immoscout or WG-gesucht. However, your salary gives you the flexibility to find suitable housing.
