1. Are there opportunities for a permanent position after completing the program?

Absolutely, that is our goal! We aim to offer our trainees suitable positions within the company after completion. We work with you early on to find a follow-up position in one of the areas that matches your interests and skills.

2. Where will I work during my trainee program?

The main workplace is our headquarters in Pullach near Munich.

3. Will I receive regular feedback?

It is important to us that you learn a lot and develop further with us. For this reason, you will receive regular feedback from your mentor.

4. Does SIXT offer support with finding accommodation?

Unfortunately, we cannot directly assist with accommodation search. We recommend using platforms like Immoscout or WG-gesucht to find suitable housing. To support you as best as possible, we offer an above-average salary that gives you more flexibility in your accommodation search.

HQ trainee program

1. When does the trainee program start and how long does it last?

The trainee program starts on October 1st and lasts 18 months.

2. How is the trainee program structured?

We want to give you a broad insight into our teams and departments. Therefore, you will go through up to six rotations of three months each – three mandatory rotations that vary depending on your focus area, and three elective rotations, which are decided together based on your interests. Based on your feedback and development during the program, you can also complete one of these rotations abroad at one of our international locations.

3. What development opportunities does the trainee program offer?

In addition to exciting practical and project assignments in various teams, you will participate in targeted training sessions to further develop your professional and personal skills. You will also gain valuable insights into our core business, rental services, and benefit from numerous networking opportunities within the company.

4. Who will support me during the program?

You will have two fixed contacts: one person coordinates and manages the trainee program, while the other is your professional contact within your department.

5. What are the contract conditions during the trainee program?

Your contract is initially limited to 18 months – the duration of the trainee program – with the goal of offering you a permanent position afterward.
