Human Resources Project Manager

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented and process focused Human Resource Project Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL to join our USA HR Operations team. This is an individual contributor role supporting compensation, HRIS, analytics, compliance, and policies. Will develop partnerships with various business unit groups including all HR groups, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Sales Performance & Training. This role will have the opportunity to work with various areas of HR and create great partnerships. The HR Project Manager will support a diverse array of projects from origination through final implementation. Roles and responsibilities, project plans, key milestones, analysis, timelines, and communications will need to be coordinated and monitored to ensure successful delivery.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
  • Work on special projects and initiatives driven by corporate and/or business needs
  • Author many types of documents, including action/project plans, and presentations. Strong skills with spreadsheets and a variety of data/information
  • Track and report project progress and status to stakeholders
  • Roll-out of HR programs/projects to leaders and employees within the enterprise
  • Design, document, test, implement and improve HR processes, programs and tools
  • Will lead project on building and implementing interfaces across the various HR systems
  • Assists in identifying and developing business process mapping with regard to data quality/integrity
  • HRIS/Analytics:
  • Automate and optimize departmental processes by seeking out ways to simplify and reduce complexity
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, detect, identify and correct HRIS technical problems and deficiencies
  • Subject matter expert for the continued system optimization of Kronos Workforce Ready and Ultimate Software UltiPro Core
  • Owns and maintains user access rights and profiles for payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Manages links to the payroll function, including software and payroll interfaces
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
  • Research and recommend technological improvements that will improve processes within the HR group
  • Responsible for running and communicating turnover data to senior management, managers, and HRBPs
  • Assist and make system adjustments to PTO pay plans
  • Handle all HR ad-hoc reporting requests from the business
  • Compensation:
  • Work with Talent Acquisition and managers on compensation related inquiries. Researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Perform wage market research on new market entries and provide recommendations
  • Tracks and reviews Living Wage Ordinances and ensures necessary increases are reviewed and approved timely
  • Assist with implementing and/or administering grading, compensation plans, programs, and processes
  • Coordinate and harmonize national and international processes in consultation with the Global office

Your Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an HR analytical/compensation capacity within a mid-sized (750+ employees) and multi-state company
  • 1+ years’ project management experience successfully managing full cycle of multiple projects concurrently
  • Technical experience with HRIS and Payroll systems, including understanding/setting up interfaces and building ad-hoc reports. Experience with UltiPro and Kronos Workforce Ready preferred
  • Advanced to expert technology skills (MS Office)
  • Experience working with and protecting highly confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to easily flex style and/or approaches to successfully manage changes in priorities, deadlines and workload
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, leadership capabilities, analytical skills, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate to drive results and problem solve
  • Ability to communicate status effectively and concisely to leadership
