Rental Sales Agent

Sixt is looking for a Rental Sales Agent to provide exceptional customer service and support their team. They will learn about the customer’s rental needs and work to upgrade them to a more premium vehicle and additional services that will enhance their experience. The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to manage stressful or unusual situations while maintaining good customer service

What you will do:

• Create the optimal rental experience by maximizing on sales and service opportunities for every customer
• Greet customers professionally, prepare the rental agreement, and perform check outs
• Advise on and sell optional extras to the customer according to his/her needs
• Advise as an expert on all vehicles in the Sixt fleet, all protection items, and all extras
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and confidence
• Complete and follow-up on to-do list and report to the Supervisor and Manager
• Handle all telephone and email inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner
• Assist with ongoing training/coaching of RSAs as needed.

About you:

• High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a SIXT RSA role preferred
• Must be recommended by Branch Manager
• Must have an IRPD above branch average for the last 6 months
• Must have a CES score above branch average for the last 6 months
• Must have completed all trainings
• Must be in good standing (no write-ups in the last 6 months)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
• Likely to require at least 5-10% travel, some of which may be by airplane
