YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You are responsible for building innovative fleet planning tools with global impact and for working with diverse stakeholders to support strategic decision-making in fleet allocation, demand forecasting, and mobility trend analysis
• You lead the team in designing, developing, and evaluating data-driven solutions that enable business users to create optimal fleet plans across markets, improving vehicle utilization and aligning fleet supply with customer demand
• You analyze and improve existing processes, understand the needs of business stakeholders in Fleet Planning, and proactively share ideas for scalable, innovative solutions
• You track the business impact of your tools, know your KPIs and metrics, and use them to structure and prioritize your backlog effectively
• You continuously shape the vision, roadmap, and development of our strategic fleet planning product in close collaboration with business teams across markets

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Expertise You have experience and a deep understanding of fleet planning, demand forecasting, or operational research, ideally with optimization algorithms or decision support systems
• Passion You bring a strong interest in analyzing mobility trends, paired with solid knowledge of data-driven planning and optimization theory
• Education You have a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, operations research, business economics) or proven experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in an agile environment
• Tools You demonstrate strong skills in using analytics software (e.g., Python) and in database querying (e.g., SQL)
• Collaboration You are a team player and find the best solutions in consultation with the team and other stakeholders
• Communication Your profile is rounded off by fluent English as well as knowledge of JIRA/Confluence - German is a plus
