We are looking for highly motivated, analytically strong students (m/f/d) to join our Sales & Service Steering unit and help maximize incremental sales through smart upgrade (upsell) pricing across channels and markets worldwide. Think trader mindset: you will analyze live performance, make evidence based adjustments, and see your decisions translate into real revenue and profit—every single day. You’ll learn from experienced pricing and sales strategists, work closely with HQ stakeholders and country leaders, and build consulting grade skills in analytics, business thinking, and executive communication. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You steer daily upsell pricing with a trader mindset—analyze, decide, act—and create immediate impact on incremental revenue and profit
- You rapidly adjust and optimize prices across offline, online, and mobile channels for markets worldwide, always in close alignment with the Sales & Service Steering team
- You design and run price experiments (e.g., A/B tests, price thresholds, promotions), evaluate results rigorously, and scale or roll back based on evidence
- You closely monitor core KPIs, derive insights, identify anomalies, and trigger next best actions
- You translate complex data into clear recommendations and concise updates for Sales & Service Steering, Pricing, Yield, Fleet, and Country Managers
- You collaborate cross‑functionally to balance willingness‑to‑pay and customer experience with fleet utilization and revenue impact
- You take a high level of independent work and ownership for your assigned markets/segments, moving fast while maintaining accuracy and business impact
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Current enrollment in a Master’s program or advanced Bachelor’s semester in Business, Economics, or related fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen; you’re comfortable with data, probability/statistics, and make pragmatic, evidence‑based decisions
- Ownership mindset and independence; you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, effectively maximize your impact and keep a high bar for quality
- Clear, structured communication; you can present insights and recommendations succinctly to cross-functional stakeholders
- Curiosity for price & sales strategies, the mobility/automotive sector
- Tools: Confidence with Excel is must; experience with BI or analytic tools a plus (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Google Looker, Power BI) – but not required, you can learn on the job
- Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
- Experience: Prior internships or working student experience in data analysis, revenue management/finance/trading, analytics, consulting, strategy, pricing, or controlling are a plus
