As a Market Manager, you will drive SIXT ride's operations and market performance within your designated regions, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to unlock the potential of new and existing markets. Adapt pricing, sales, and operational strategies based on market conditions and seasonal variations. Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including strategic partnerships and emerging market trends
  • Oversee Profit & Loss for your region, implementing KPIs and regularly presenting objectives and performance reports. Actively monitor ride fulfilment, ensuring operational excellence and effective problem resolution. Anticipate and navigate market-specific challenges such as legislation, competition, and economic factors.
  • Build strong relationships with transportation service providers (TSPs), supporting them to enhance service quality. Handle TSP onboarding, compliance checks, and quality monitoring to meet SIXT ride’s standards. Collaborate with internal teams (Pricing, Sales, Support, Marketing) to drive customer success and achieve regional goals.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark pricing against market trends. Use internal tools and independent research to assess market performance and adjust strategies.
  • Ensure a first-class customer experience by resolving complaints effectively and maintaining premium service quality.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience 5+ years in market management, sales, or business development in the transportation industry
  • Skills Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with data analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach. Resilience and adaptability in high-pressure environments
  • Languages Fluency in English (additional languages, such as German, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Arabic are a plus)
  • Mobility Willingness to travel frequently for inspections, events, and team coordination
