Accounts Payable Supervisor

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor at SIXT, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of the organization by overseeing the daily operations of our Accounts Payable function. Reporting to the Sr. Accounting Manager and collaborating closely with our international finance teams, you will lead process improvements, ensure timely and accurate payments, and help streamline operations to support our continued growth.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

  • You lead and support the Accounts Payable team’s daily operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing and alignment with internal controls

  • You collaborate with the Germany AP department to manage corporate accounts, verify payment details, and resolve discrepancies efficiently

  • You track and analyze invoice workflows, generating weekly performance reports to assess processing volume and accuracy

  • You support the Sr. Accounting Manager with accounting tasks, audits, and special projects that enhance financial reporting and compliance

  • You drive departmental improvements by streamlining AP processes and fostering cross-departmental communication through regular meetings

  • You serve as the main point of contact for all AP-related inquiries, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Education & Experience You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience, and bring hands-on knowledge in accounts payable or general accounting functions

Leadership & Collaboration You’re a dependable team leader who fosters collaboration, provides guidance, and communicates effectively with cross-functional and international stakeholders

Attention to Detail & Analytical Thinking You are highly organized with strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for accuracy in financial data and reporting

Customer Service Mindset   You bring a customer-first approach to internal and external interactions, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness

Technical Expertise You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and have a working knowledge of accounting systems; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus

Languages   Multilingual skills are a plus but not required
