YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will provide technical leadership to major initiatives. Review platform architecture/design and work with engineers to drive business value
• You ensure great chemistry among product, engineering and business. Contribute to product and build the right synergies between business and engineering.
• You build and manage a high-performance team of engineers. Drive the team to achieve meet/exceed goals identified for the team
• You Guide and mentor the team members. Act as a coach and focus on growth plan for team members
• You encourage and reward bottom-up innovation. Catalyze and create space for people to innovate
• You have a crisp view on long term architecture and technology stack selection. Guide the team on technology decision making and day to day problem solving
• You own end to end definition and execution of SDLC. Estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment
• You will create culture of high ownership & responsiveness for production support

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You must have Bachelor's Engineering OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• You should have 14+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering with atleast 3+ years directly managing large development teams
• You have experience in handling managers and architects
• You have experience handling "Full Stack" teams with Backend & UI technologies. Also handling mobile development teams is a big plus
• You have experience designing and developing enterprise grade distributed application using Java/J2EE
• You have exposure working on any latest UI technologies such as React.js,Angular.js,Vue.js
• You have experience working with Microservices, container orchestration along with Kafka and AWS
• You have experience in building high traffic backend services and web applications
• You are comfortable with Agile development and Scrum process
• You have excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
